Mine shafts, quicksand, shotguns, and fiery sermons are all scenes that etch into the minds-eye. This is an interesting place to begin laying musical roots, and where Jayron traces his.
Jayron was raised roaming the hills of North Georgia, exploring old copper mines and railroad tracks, all the while getting schooled with Bluegrass, Gospel, and “Country Gold".
With an arsenal of influences that range from Alison Krauss to Steve Earl, from Vince Gill to the Wallflowers, Jayron's stamp on country music crosses genre lines.
In March of 2007 Jayron helped form the duo band, “Blue Eyed Grass”. The duo released three albums gaining recognition on Gibson Guitars' list, "Best New Musicians". The duo toured together until January of 2011.
Jayron has toured all over the U.S. and Canada. He's also shared the stage with country music's headliners, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Sugarland, Josh Turner, and many others. He's appeared on several television shows, including USA network's "Nashville Star", CMT's "Can You Duet", Fox's "American Idol", and ABC’s 20/20.
